Greetings from our Potentate and the entire 2012 Divan. Thanks for
dropping in. Shiners belong to the Ancient Arabic Order of the Mystic
Shrine for North America (A.A.O.N.M.S.). The Shrine is an
international fraternity of over 4,000,000 members who belong to Shrine
Temples throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Republic of
Panama. Founded in New York City in 1872, the organization is
composed solely of Master Masons. Check further into this Website and
see many Units, Clubs and Activities the Shrine has to offer.
The Shrine is best
known for its colorful parades, its distinctive RED FEZ and its official philanthropy,
SHRINERS HOSPITALS FOR CHILDREN, which is often called "The Heart
and Soul of the Shrine".
The 22 Shriners Hospitals for
Children provide expert Orthopedic and Burn care to children up to their
18th birthday, absolutely no charge to the parents! For more
